Trent Stoltz (Founder/Owner)
Trent’s construction journey began in 2020 when he joined a commercial construction staffing company, gaining invaluable experience on high-profile projects like the Phoenix Sun’s Arena, Block 23, and ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Through that work he realized his true passion was in building, leading him to establish his own company in 2021, Stoltz Contracting LLC, which later became T.A. Builders.
Initially Trent focused on flipping houses for investors, and that hands-on experience built the foundation for T.A.’s growth. As the Arizona market expanded, so did Trent’s company, leading him to larger-scale projects. In 2023, he partnered with Kyle to further diversify operations, focusing on ground-up construction and multi-family projects.
Today, T.A. Builders has managed over $15 million in contracted projects, with a diverse portfolio that includes Fix and Flips, Custom Remodels, Ground-Up Construction (both commercial and residential), and BINSR (Buyer Inspection Notice and Seller Response) work.
Now, Trent’s vision has expanded beyond just construction. He began investing in his own properties and opened up public investment opportunities, allowing others to join in funding the company’s projects. This move has enabled Trent to offer a unique model where the public can invest in the growth and success of T.A. Builders.
A proud Phoenix native, Trent holds a degree in strategic communications from the University of Utah, where he also had a successful baseball career, winning the 2016 Pac-12 Championship and earning accolades such as being named to the Preseason All-Conference Watch List. Outside of work, Trent enjoys spending time with his partner, Angela, and their two French Bulldogs, Guinness and Cooper. They also enjoy traveling and attending sporting events and concerts. His goal is to expand the company into the Utah market in the next 1-2 years.
